Where it stands
Live · in market- <3 minto generate a clinical note, down from ~15
- 1medical assistant required per satellite clinic
- 3+locations served by one specialist
The challenge
A healthtech startup was building for specialist surgical practices whose reach was constrained by how far patients were willing to travel. The operating model depended on satellite clinics staffed by a single medical assistant, while the specialist reviewed imaging, took history, consulted, and documented the visit remotely.
What we built
04 parts- 01
DICOM-native remote consultation
Built a browser-based consultation room where MRI and CT imaging can be reviewed and annotated live alongside the video consultation.
- 02
3D anatomy visualization
Added cranial and spinal 3D models beside the medical scan so specialists can explain findings during the remote consultation.
- 03
AI voice intake
Captured patient history and prior imaging information before the specialist joins the consultation.
- 04
Automatic clinical charting
Generated the clinical note from the consultation, reducing post-visit documentation work for the specialist.
The results
- Clinical-note generation reduced from roughly 15 minutes to under 3 minutes.
- Satellite clinics can operate with one medical assistant and no specialist on site.
- One specialist can serve 3+ locations remotely.
